WHERE RITUAL MEETS
MIDNIGHT CALM
In the stillness between dusk and dawn, the air grows quiet. The Midnight Lounge opens with a single devotion: Gyokuro Gokō, cultivated in Ujitawara Town, Kyoto Prefecture.
Ujitawara lies in the mist-covered mountains upstream of the Uji River. Its calm, humid mornings create one of the most revered environments for tea cultivation. It is said that the gentle sweetness and deep aroma of Uji tea are born from these misty dawns, where light softens and the leaves awaken in silence.
Shade-grown, deep, and luminous, Gyokuro Gokō is a ritual of patience and presence.

THE ART OF PRESENCE
Whispers in every cup.
Grace in the slow pour.
A story in every leaf.
"At The Midnight Lounge, tea is not consumed.
It is lived.
This is only the beginning."

GYOKURO GOKŌ —
UJITAWARA'S MORNING MIST
Gokō is cultivated in Ujitawara Town, a mountainous region upstream of the Uji River in southern Kyoto. The area is known for its misty dawns, where humidity settles softly over the fields.
This natural veil creates a calm, nourishing climate said to draw out the gentle sweetness and deep aroma for which Uji-grown teas are cherished.
For more than twenty days, the plants rest under handcrafted shade coverings, deepening their chlorophyll and developing a serene, jade-colored liquor with velvet umami and a refined, lingering sweetness.
Curated in quiet collaboration with an esteemed tea house in Kyoto.
